As Human Resources Operations Coordinator you will be the first point of contact for answering HR questions and resolving HR-related issues. This is a great role for someone who is looking to gain experience in HR.
Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR professional to join our dynamic team in Algeria. This pivotal role will be the first point of contact for all HR-related inquiries and will provide comprehensive, end-to-end support for HR initiatives and employee operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless HR project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
The Coordinator will provide expert HR support across a broad spectrum of functions, addressing employee needs throughout the entire lifecycle.
- Comprehensive HR Support:
- Resolve our employees' HR inquiries throughout the whole employee life-cycle: from on-boarding, through workforce administration, to exit administration.
- Provide assistance for all areas of HR functions, including HR Systems, HR Administration, Employment Verification, HR Policies and Procedures, Payroll, Rewards, Performance Management, Talent, and Mobility.
- Provide expert HR support for effective employee relations and adherence to company policies.
HR System Optimization & Data Analysis:
- Maintain, enhance, and optimize HR systems (e.g., Workday), serving as a subject matter expert and providing dedicated support to users to maximize system efficiency.
- Be responsible for data tracking and analysis using our ticketing system.
- Generate insightful HR reports, conduct thorough data analysis, and meticulously document HR-related processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Fleet Management:
- Oversee the company vehicle fleet operations, including procurement, registration, maintenance scheduling, and allocation to employees.
- Ensure compliance with local Algerian traffic laws, insurance requirements, and company fleet policies.
Process Improvement & Collaboration:
- Help with the implementation of innovative HR processes to significantly improve the employee experience.
- Co-work with the MENACAT HR team for all-rounded HR queries.
- Foster strong, collaborative relationships with other HR teams , facilitating the efficient sharing of knowledge, policies, programs, and updates to ensure consistent HR delivery.
- Committed to ensuring employee confidentiality and a positive HR experience.
Basic Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of progressive experience in HR operations or a closely related HR field.
- Algeria Labor Law Expertise: Proven in-depth expertise and practical application of Algerian labor laws and regulations.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively interact with and influence employees and management at all organizational levels.
- Autonomy & Collaboration: Ability to work effectively both collaboratively within a team and independently with minimal supervision.
- Organizational & Detail-Oriented: Highly organized, meticulous, and detail-oriented, with a proven track record of driving process improvements and successfully executing complex projects.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications. Hands-on experience with HR systems, particularly Workday, is a significant advantage.
- Language Fluency: Fluent in English, French and Arabic (written and spoken) is essential.
- Education: Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
